ISOlution® Flavoured is a clinical grade whey protein isolate powder (WPI) that is indicated to support prehabilitation, wound healing, the management of malnutrition, and the increased protein requirements of ill and aging individuals. ISOlution® Flavoured is available in Vanilla Bean and Decaf Cold Brew flavours. Sourced from New Zealand grass-fed dairy, ISOlution® Flavoured is enhanced with 34% more leucine than standard whey protein products - leucine is an essential amino acid that can only be obtained through diet, and is key to aiding in muscle development and maintenance.

ISOlution® Flavoured dissolves easily and is mixed into water or milk. Each serving can be taken between regular meal times to support consistent protein intake throughout the day.

For the special nutritional support of the following needs:

  • Fluid-restricted diet
  • Protein-energy malnutrition
  • Critical care administered through feeding tubes
  • Increased protein needs
  • Frailty
  • Osteoporosis
  • Hypoalbuminemia
  • Wound healing
  • Cachexia
  • Elevated protein intake of 1.0 – 1.2 g/kg Body Weight (BW)/day is recommended for older adults to maintain physical function and to combat age-related loss of muscle mass.1
  • Most older adults with acute or chronic disease need elevated protein intake between 1.2 – 2.0 g/kg BW/day.1
  • An adequate amount of protein intake with each meal is essential. Given there is an anabolic threshold of protein intake, 25 – 30 g of high-quality protein, containing about 2.5 – 2.8 g of leucine per meal is recommended for older adults.1,2
  • Leucine is one of the most important amino acids in stimulating muscle protein synthesis.3 ISOlution® contains 34% more leucine than the leading brand of whey protein.
  • Whey protein is the ideal source of supplemental protein for older adults given its robust ability to stimulate muscle protein synthesis.4
  • ISOlution® effectively stimulates myofibrillar muscle protein synthesis and improves lean body mass in older persons, unlike the equivalent amount of a collagen peptide supplement.5
  • Contains milk and dairy products (Trace Lactose: 0.03g/serving).
  • ISOlution® is not nutritionally complete and should not be used as a sole source of nutrition.
  • Not suitable for those with galactosemia.
  • Not suitable for children under the age of 3.
